Our Story

The back story to this venture is important.

There were a few stories my Nan would mention that intrigued me. But as soon as I queried further, she'd shrug and respond with, "Oh, that's a story for another day." I knew she had a lot more to share and possibly struggled to connect with me as she assumed I didn't have the time with my "busy" schedule.

So I decided to approach it a different way. I gave her the Memoir book as a gift on our wedding day so she could fill it out whilst we were on our honetymoon.

When we returned, she gave me the book, grinning from ear to ear. I could tell she felt valued and cherished. Our Memoir book was also a conversation starter for us which we continued to discuss over the years.

It has been a privilege to work on this venture together. Her constant support over the many years of raising me, alongside my Pop, will always be cherished.

I hope this book will strengthen your relationship with your loved one as it has done for me, and continue to be shared with future generations.

About the founder

Full time, I'm an architect.

My passions lie in connections with people and place, specifically in the community shaping space. One of the influences in my practice of architecture is the inspiration of sanctuary; how carefully considered spaces can create the feeling that one is safe and secure.

I'm an avid traveller and reader. I always stay curious and am continuously growing, learning, discovering and exploring.

In true Memoirs form, I’ve answered some questions…. graphically! Flick through the images for an insight into my personality.
